Lok Sabha Elections 2024 – Voting on 12 Lok Sabha seats in Rajasthan in the first phase tomorrow

Voting for the first phase of 2024 Lok Sabha elections will be held in the country on Friday. Voters will cast their votes on a total of 102 seats. There are elections for 12 seats in the first phase in Rajasthan. Which includes Sriganganagar, Bikaner, Churu, Jhunjhunu, Sikar, Jaipur Rural, Jaipur City, Alwar, Bharatpur, Karauli Dholpur, Dausa and Nagaur Lok Sabha seats. In view of the elections, the Election Commission, administration and police have completed preparations. Blockade is being done on UP, MP and Haryana borders since night. Entry is being given only after thorough search of vehicles. Polling parties have reached the polling booths to conduct the elections.

Increased vigil on MP-UP border adjacent to Dholpur

Police across the district have come on active mode ahead of voting starting at 7 am on Friday. After most of the police personnel have been put on polling duty, the CO of the circle is busy in creating a strong blockade with his police. The police team is allowing vehicles to move towards Dholpur after intensive searching on the border of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. The police team under the leadership of Dholpur Rural CO Anand Rao reached Kathri border of UP late at night. Where the policemen allowed each vehicle to enter Dholpur only after checking it.

Dholpur Rural CO said that a police team has been deployed on the border of Madhya Pradesh and Uttar Pradesh regarding the Lok Sabha elections. Where after continuously searching the suspects and identifying them, they are being allowed to move ahead.

1 thousand 627 polling stations made in Bikaner

There are a total of 1 thousand 627 original polling stations in Bikaner district. In which there are a total of 58 assistant polling stations. A total of 2 thousand 40 polling parties were formed. The administration has made a total of 575 critical booths in the district. And 123 active micro observers have been appointed. Election related instructions were given to the polling parties at Polytechnic College, Bikaner today and they were sent out after giving them election material. District Election Officer Namrata Vrishni and District Superintendent of Police Tejaswini Gautam were present on this occasion. He said that polling parties have been dispatched and they are ready to take up the responsibility after reaching their destination.

Assembly wise polling team leaves for Nagaur

Assembly wise polling parties were sent from BR Mirdha College Ground to Ladnun, Jayal, Nagaur and Khinvsar. For this, four counters have been set up, where polling parties were also sent for Ladnun, Jayal, Nagaur and Khinvsar assembly constituencies. A separate pandal has also been made for the policemen and security personnel deployed for security arrangements. Buses were dispatched. At the same time, security personnel should be deployed for parking and for the safety of vehicles, the main gate is also being monitored through CCTV cameras.

1750 polling stations made in Jhunjhunu

After giving final training, the polling teams were sent from Seth Motilal College of Jhunjhunu district headquarters. Teams are being sent to all 1750 polling stations in two phases. On this occasion, District Collector Chinmayi Gopal said that 8464 polling personnel are being sent to the polling centers after final training at 1750 polling stations in the district. In the first phase, training has been given to polling parties of 4 assembly constituencies of the Lok Sabha constituency. Hands-on training was also given to the polling parties at the training venue. In the second shift, polling parties from 3 assembly constituencies of the Lok Sabha constituency will be sent after training. All the polling parties will reach the booths by this evening.
